You know, this is a strange business. Rates will often vary with the amount of work to be done. Whenever you have an emergency and need some help right away the rate you pay naturally will be higher than the rate for scheduled or remote service.
There are also many different ways of charging. If you take a look at the website for the squad with the bugs, you'll see several different service packages and rates and on and on it goes. If you can figure out their charts, you're smart enough to figure out how to solve your own PC problems. And believe me, I have come along behind them and cleaned a mess that they left behind. I love those guys.
It is easy for us to guarantee that our rates will beat their rates every time and our service will be customized to your needs. One thing we can't compete on is that we aren't all across the United States. I can't fix hardware remotely, but I can help with software remotely and by phone.
